COARSEGOLD – A Coarsegold woman was taken into custody after she rolled her vehicle on Highway 41 near Coyote Hollow, just south of John’s Storage.

At about 1:20 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 17, CHP received a report of a possible DUI driver headed north on Highway 41.

Some 20 minutes later, the vehicle in question, a 2003 Honda Element, now headed southbound, ran up on the embankment on the right side of the road and rolled over once, coming to rest on its wheels, blocking the southbound lane.

Dawn Wallace, 56, of Coarsegold, was taken into custody on charges of DUI, according to the CHP. No other vehicles were involved.

Traffic control was put in place on Highway 41, and the roadway was blocked for a while as the scene was cleared.
