OAKHURST — Winter can be hard for those less fortunate, especially in mountain area communities when the temperatures drop and the snow starts flying.
So in the spirit of the holidays, two community partners are teaming up in an effort to spread some warmth — literally.
During the month of December, students and staff at Yosemite High School together with the employees at Sierra Telephone will be collecting new sweatshirts (hoodies), socks and undergarments for area students in need.
Those interested in contributing to the clothing drive can help by dropping off items at Sierra Telephone or at the front office at Yosemite High School by Dec. 13.
