BASS LAKE – All festive party-goers and good-hearted philanthropists are encouraged to attend the 11th Annual Christmas Tree & Online Auction set for Sunday, Dec. 2, at the Bass Lake Event Center, Lakeview Room, at 3 p.m.

SECRET #10 Participation Saves Money
The online auction – now through Nov. 30 – heralds the start of holiday shopping and is a thoughtful way to pick up great gifts. For the live event Dec. 2, buy tickets in advance and get $5 off per person.

SECRET #9 You Can Shop In Your Pajamas
Paisley, polka-dot or patched, you can shop in whatever pajamas you like. The online auction is made up of merchandise ranging from gift certificates to tons of pellet fuel. Yes, two tons!

SECRET #8 No One Cries
There’s no crying or whining when it comes to generous donations made by local merchants, but there is wining from Madera Wine Trails Package for Two. Expect opportunities for dining and overnighting, too.

SECRET #7 Sometimes Magical Stuff Happens
Wonderful things have been known to occur at the live auction – like when a local benefactor bid successfully on a tree, then immediately donated it back, to take in a total of $3200 for charity.
