Celebration of Life for Bill Snigar

William “Bill” Daniel Snigar passed away at the age of 80 on April, 29, 2020. Bill was born April 9, 1940, in Nicholson, PA.

Bill lived in Coarsegold for 25 years. He passed away at home from natural causes surrounded by his loving wife Becky Snigar and family.

He loved motorcycles, cooking, camping, bowling, hiking and backpacking in the Sierra National Forest.

Bill was a lifelong long haul truck driver, advocate and active rescuer for Beauceron dogs.

For eight years Bill volunteered at Clover Meadow Ranger Station in the Sierra National Forest.

He was preceded in death by his parents Adam and Sophia Snigar, brother David Snigar and son Barry Roger Snigar of Pennsylvania.

Bill is survived by his wife Becky Snigar, his six children including Christopher William Snigar of Tunkhannock, PA, Mark Campbell of Coarsegold, Lori Barrett of Mariposa, Tami Grant of Madera, Julie Franco of Antelope, CA, Matthew Franklin of Henderson, NV; 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, with more on the way; brother Richard Adam Snigar of Brackney, PA.

A celebration of life is to be scheduled as pandemic restrictions are lifted.
