OAKHURST – Adventist Health proudly welcomes family nurse practitioner, Gina Ragsdale, FNP, to the team practicing at Adventist Health Medical Office – Oakhurst East.
Ragsdale received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, Texas. She completed her training as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Ill.
Specializing in family practice, Ragsdale provides comprehensive care for both children and adults; including well-child exams, women’s health, sports physicals and chronic disease management.
Prior to continuing her career as a family nurse practitioner, Ragsdale specialized in pediatric nursing and enjoys creating a close relationship with her patients focused on prevention and education.
“Preventative care is very important to me, and with my long background as a registered nurse I understand how essential education is to providing the best patient care,” she says. “I want to be both a resource and a partner for my patients to turn to anytime they need support in their healthcare journeys.”
In her spare time, Ragsdale enjoys staying active with her husband, children and grandchildren. She is an active runner and loves to kickbox.
