OAKHURST – After sitting through long delays for the fire in O’Neals, motorists had another traffic snarl at the top of Deadwood on Highway 41 just south of Oakhurst.
At about 4 p.m., a 35-year-old female driver rolled her Chevy HHR when, she told CHP, she tried to avoid running into the back of a car stopped to turn left onto Road 425B.
She ran up onto the bank on the right side of the road, causing her car to roll over, coming to rest on its roof.
Both the driver and her 14-year-old passenger suffered only minor injuries and refused transport by Sierra Ambulance.
The road was blocked until the car could be moved onto Road 425B. No other vehicles were involved.
