OAKHURST – Oakhurst Community Park will be filled with a plethora of booths offering everything from collectibles to local wine samplings, hand-crafted beers and more at the 24th annual Oakhurst Fall Festival taking place Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 8 – 9, sponsored by Oakhurst Area Chamber of Commerce.

Known originally as the Oakhurst Chocolate and Wine Festival, the Oakhurst Fall Festival has grown to encompass more than those two early, and essential, ingredients.

“The Oakhurst Fall Festival showcases everything our community and our local region has to offer for visitors and locals alike,” says event organizer and Chamber Director Joelle Leder.

“We put together a truly diverse array of offerings so everyone has something to be excited about while attending the 2016 Oakhurst Fall Festival. Visitors are able to sample wines from regional wineries, as well as local, award-winning hand-crafted beers. The Festival offers numerous local artists, craft vendors, silent auction, live music and entertainment, artists demonstration tent, children’s activities and car shows on both Saturday and Sunday.”

Live music and entertainment on the Sierra Tel Stage on Saturday is scheduled to include a live Broadcast by 95.7 The Fox radio station, followed by classic cover band, Rock Therapy. The Dave Henderson Band opens the event on Sunday, followed by the Jeremy “ELVIS” Pearce Concert.

The Oakhurst Fall Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Admission is just $2, and tickets for beer and wine tastings are only $1.
