OAKHURST – Evergreen Conference Center Oakhurst (ECCO) invites locals and visitors alike to their annual Thanksgiving Banquet on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, with appetizers starting at 12:15 p.m. and dinner scheduled for 1 p.m. on what will likely be a beautiful fall afternoon. To extend the pleasure, excellent overnight options are available, as well.
Reservations are requested by Nov. 25, according to program coordinator Kristen Cook at ECCO, and even after that deadline organizers will try to accommodate any guests who wish to join in.
“We welcome anyone to attend,” says Kristen, “and we’re serving prime rib, ham, turkey, mashed potatoes… everything you’d expect for Thanksgiving dinner, and more!”
The cost for dinner is $29 for adults and $14.50 for children.
Overnight, all-inclusive packages are also available beginning at $75 depending on the number of people in the party. Overnight guests receive dinner, evening snacks, evening entertainment, and breakfast the following day.
Rooms are known to fill up fairly quickly; as of this writing, some accommodations are still available.
ECCO is a “center of renewal and beauty,” and a year-round conference center located just 15 miles from Yosemite National Park. ECCO has been serving the nonprofit conference and retreat needs of the central valley since 1982. The center provides lodging, delicious meals and a variety of recreational activities including team building, sports, hiking and even Park excursions in their own 24 passenger bus.
