One-Way Traffic Control On Highway 41 This Sunday

MADERA COUNTY — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announces that one-way traffic control will be in effect this Sunday morning on State Route 41 in Madera County.

Maintenance crews will be repairing guardrail that was damaged during a recent fire.

The following one-way traffic control will be in effect, weather permitting:

· On Sunday, June 25 – State Route 41 will be reduced to one-way traffic control from Road 208 to Road 406 (just south of the area commonly known as “Rocky Cut”). Delays of up to 15 minutes are possible, and depending on traffic volumes, delays may extend longer than 15 minutes. One-way traffic control will be in effect between the hours of 6 a.m. and noon.

Maintenance crews will be conducting one-way traffic control during this time with the use of flagging personnel. Commuters are reminded to obey flagging personnel and pay close attention to road maintenance vehicles.

Caltrans maintenance workers remind you to drive with extra care and allow additional travel time while traveling in the maintenance area.

Please be alert for Road Maintenance Personnel and “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
