MADERA COUNTY– Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Dec. 25 to Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017.
North Fork burglary
On Monday, Dec. 25 at 9:19 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 56000 block of Road 200 in regards to a commercial burglary investigation. Statements were obtained and a report was written. Currently, there are no suspect(s) or witnesses.
Coarsegold family disturbance
On Monday, Dec. 25 at 9:08 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 31000 block of Road 400 regarding a family disturbance. Report written and case closed.
North Fork report of sexual assault
On Monday, Dec. 25 at 4:23 p.m. a deputy was flagged down while assisting in an arrest. A rape was reported.
North Fork report of sexual assault
On Monday, Dec. 25 at 2:45 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 5000 block of Road 200 regarding a report of a sexual assault. Detectives were notified, statements were collected and the suspect was arrested and booked into Madera County Department of Corrections.
Coarsegold public intoxication
On Monday, Dec. 25 at 9:56 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding two intoxicated subjects being uncooperative. Upon arrival an investigation ensued and the two subjects were arrested for public intoxication. They were transported and booked at Madera County Department of Corrections. Case closed by arrest.
North Fork disturbance
On Tuesday, Dec. 26 at 1:56 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to a residence located within the 45000 block of Graceway Drive regarding a report of a disturbance. During the investigation a female was contacted along with her boyfriend and their landlord/roommate. The female was demonstrating flights of thought and was a danger to others. She was placed on a mental health evaluation hold and transported to a hospital for evaluation and/or treatment. This case has been closed.
Oakhurst burglary
On Tuesday, Dec. 26 at 9:17 a.m. deputies responded to the 39000 block of Road 425B regarding a reported burglary. A report was taken for documentation.
Oakhurst burglary to business
On Tuesday, Dec. 26 at 4:14 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 40000 block of Ca-41 in Oakhurst regarding a theft from a business. The store owner was contacted and a report written for documentation.
Coarsegold theft
On Tuesday, Dec. 26 at 7:58 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 29000 block of Kit Carson Court regarding a report of a theft. Report was written for informational purposes and case was closed due to lack of investigative leads.
North Fork suspicious vehicle reported
On Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 3:13 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 57000 block of Road 225 for a report of a suspicious vehicle driving in the area. On arrival, the deputy located the vehicle and contacted two individuals. A report was generated for future reference and no further action was taken at this time.
O’Neals Coroner’s case
On Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 7 a.m. a deputy responded to a delayed Coroner’s case with the primary physician stipulating to the decedent’s cause of death. This is a natural death case involving only a Coroner’s referral number.
Oakhurst possession of methamphetamine
On Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 8:19 a.m. deputies conducted a subject check at the 40000 block of CA-41 at the EZ Mart. A subject was found to have two misdemeanor warrants and to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested and transported to Madera DOC without incident. Refer to Madera Probation for information and to the DA’s office for charges filed.
Oakhurst possession of alcohol at park
On Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 1:01 p.m. a deputy contacted a subject near CA-41 and Civic Circle who was in possession of alcohol at the Oakhurst Park. He was cited and released. Forward to the DA’s office for charges filed.
Oakhurst possible debit card fraud
On Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 2:08 p.m. a deputy responded to the 48000 block of Liberty Drive in regards to possible debit card fraud. A report was taken and forwarded to the Detective Unit for review and follow up.
Oakhurst disturbance and interfering with a law enforcement officer
On Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 3:16 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 40000 block of CA-41 regarding a person causing a disturbance. During the course of the investigation, that person was arrested for a violation of California Penal Code Section 69, Interfering with a law enforcement officer.
Oakhurst burglary to vehicle
On Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 3:21 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 49000 block of River Park Road regarding a burglary to a vehicle. Several items were taken and the owner of the vehicle requested a report for documentation.
Coarsegold disturbance
On Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 7:48 p.m. a deputy responded to the 28000 block of Ca-41 for a report of subjects fighting. Upon arrival a subject was contacted and a case number was generated. The male subject was later turned over to CHP Officers for a DUI investigation.
Ahwahnee possible assault involving juveniles
On Thursday, Dec. 28 at 9:48 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the 43000 block of CA-49 in regards to a possible assault involving juveniles. Deputies contacted all involved parties. A report was written for documentation and forwarded to Juvenile Probation for review.
Oakhurst report of possible child abuse
On Thursday, Dec. 28 at 6:19 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Victoria Lane for a report of a possible child abuse. A report was generated and forwarded to the Suisun Police Department.
Oakhurst runaway juvenile
On Thursday, Dec. 28 at 11:35 p.m. a deputy responded to the 39000 block of Pine Ridge Way for a report of a runaway juvenile. A report was generated and the juvenile was entered as a runaway.
Oakhurst missing juvenile located
On Saturday, Dec. 30 at 1:38 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Hwy 49 regarding a missing juvenile. A report was written, and the juvenile entered into missing person system for juveniles. The juvenile was located by Butte County Sheriff’s Office and case closed.
Coarsegold commercial burglary
On Saturday, Dec. 30 at 12:36 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 32000 block of Mudge Ranch Road regarding a commercial burglary.
Coarsegold violation of restraining order
On Sunday, Dec. 31 at 3:58 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane in regards to a restraining order violation.
O’Neals stolen vehicle, fleeing suspect, apprehended by canine unit
On Sunday, Dec. 31 at 4:06 p.m. deputies responded to the area of the 25000 block of Road 211 to assist CHP in a stolen vehicle crash, where the suspect fled from the scene. The suspect was later located and apprehended by the Sheriff’s canine unit. The suspect was medically cleared at Madera Community Hospital and transported to Madera Department of Corrections by CHP.

Coarsegold possible assault
On Sunday, Dec. 31 at 8:55 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 44000 block of Road 415 regarding a possible assault. Through investigation the assault was proven unfounded. Report taken for documentation. Case closed.
Coarsegold narcotics arrest
On Sunday, Dec. 31 at 11:49 p.m. a deputy conducted a vehicle stop at CA-41 and Pony Express Road. During the investigation one subject was arrested on drug charges. Charges were forwarded to the Madera County District Attorney’s Office.
