Glitches Fixed – Crowds Lining Up At The Met

OAKHURST – Everything is back on track at the Met Cinemas, says new owner Matt Sconce.

After a glitch with the ticket machine that shut everything down on Friday, the team got back up and running late yesterday.

“We did it! We fixed our ticket machine,” says Sconce. “Movies are up and rolling at the Met Cinemas with large excited crowds about to watch our 12:30 showings in the Met One.“Come get some coffee, shakes, malts, Snowcone smoothies, mochas, lattes, espresso, popcorn, candy and more from our amazing Met Espresso Lounge on the Met Too side!”

Sconce says that yesterday’s late show went so well that another studio signed on to provide movies to the local theater.

An new feature is now available at the Met – sign up for Hero Cash and have the convenience of paying for food with your member card.

Show times through Thursday, Mar. 7 for Lincoln (PG13), Wreck it Ralph (PG), and Hansel and Gretel (R) are 12:30, 3:30, 6:30 p.m., with the late show tonight at 9:30 p.m.

Show times through Thursday for Jack Reacher (PG13), and Les Miserables (PG13) are 1:00, 4:00, 7:00 p.m., with the late show tonight at 10:00 p.m.

Anyone needing to have their picture taken and pick up a membership card can do so any time today, or any time before watching a movie. Members are asked to arrive 30 to 45 minutes early if they need to do that before watching their movie.
