AHWAHNEE — The Eastern Madera County (EMC) SPCA has announced a fun new way to help build a local animal shelter while you treat your furry friend to a tail-wagging treat.
Cat and dog treat manufacturer Cloud Star All Natural Pet Products, whose motto is “wag more bark less,” says they will give the EMC SPCA $1 for every proof of purchase the group sends in.
“We are registered with Cloud Star as a nonprofit, eligible for their ‘Giving Back’ program,” organizers report. “We need to turn in 100 proofs of purchase at a time and they will send us their contribution at the end of the year.”
The EMC SPCA has been working for many years on their plans to build a shelter located on Highway 49 in Ahwahnee. Proceeds from the Cloud Star drive will benefit the organization.
One of the popular dog treats made by Cloud Star is Buddy Biscuits, along with other products that consumers can purchase from the brand.
The EMC SPCA requests that people who purchase the eligible Cloud Star products save the proof of purchase and bring them to The Cat’s Meow at 40315 Junction Dr # C in Oakhurst. Alternatively, proofs can be mailed to EMC SPCA at Post Office Box 1314, Oakhurst, CA. 93644.
“We will do the rest,” says the EMC SPCA, “and will receive $100 for every 100 proofs we send.”
