Deli Delicious To Take Over Jamba Juice Space

OAKHURST — Another dining choice will soon be available in Oakhurst as Deli Delicious takes possession of the property at The Shops of Oak Hill, formerly occupied by Jamba Juice, says Coldwell Banker Premier Commercial agent Jesse Robichaud.

“Renovation of the building has already started with an estimated opening date of March 1, 2016,” says Robichaud, whose company represents The Shops of Oak Hill.

Deli Delicious has dozens of locations all over Central California, specializing in sub sandwiches, plus hamburgers, fries, salads and soups.

Starting in 1995 with one small deli sandwich shop in Fresno, Calif., the brand has expanded to include stores in Bakersfield, Citrus Heights, Clovis, Fresno, Lemoore, Madera, Merced, Modesto, Roseville, Tulare, Turlock and Visalia. They are also on track to open new locations in Kerman, Kingsburg, Atwater, San Jose, Sanger, Stockton, Morgan Hill, and soon Oakhurst.

The stated mission of Deli Delicious is to offer an upscale, but relaxed deli experience, featuring the best possible and freshest ingredients. They also do catering.

“We treat all customers like valued guests entering our home,” the owner told The Business Journal in a 2014 interview.

Based on the success of their first store in Fresno, the family opened six more stores in the Fresno area, and began franchising in 2008.
