COARSEGOLD – Looking for a good reason to show off your vintage automobile, truck, or motorcycle, all while doing something nice for kids? If you are, and for other supporters of the Coarsegold Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA), now is the time to register for the first-ever Coarsegold School Car Show.
Nine trophy classes for the fall fundraiser include cars from 1900 – 1939, cars from 1940 – 1959, cars from 1960 – 1976, as well as motorcycles for those same time periods, plus foreign category and the coveted Best of Show.
The inaugural event is set for Saturday, Oct. 4, from 3 – 6 p.m. The cost to register is $15 with pre-registration ending Sept. 26; organizers request participants enter early. All proceeds from the car show benefit the Coarsegold PTA. For more information, contact Audra Phillips at (559) 313-2070.
