OAKHURST — Fresno Flats has a new board of directors, new ideas and is planning a revival of old traditions.
In the spirit of the season to come, the community is invited to join together for an afternoon Christmas Tea in the school house at Fresno Flats, on Sunday, Dec. 4, with seating at 2 p.m., 3 p.m., and 4 p.m.
The delightful event will also include delicacies in the form of a bake sale, and a tour of the historic Laramore-Lyman House on request. We hear kids will be able to have a few words with you-know-who, from his perch on a sleigh from the Fresno Flats collection.
The cost is $12 per adult and $6 for kids under 12 years. “What a way to start the season,” say organizers. They’re right!
