FISH CAMP — The 31st annual Elegant Auction to benefit Oakhurst Community Park is slated for Saturday, April 9, at Tenaya Lodge. Doors open at 5 p.m., along with silent auction bidding.

Guests will be treated to complimentary champagne to sip while placing their bids, in addition to a gourmet buffet, live music with Wild Hare during the silent auction and, later on, with dancing until midnight. At 8 p.m., a professional auctioneer will announce the beginning of the exciting live auction.

“We have thoroughly enjoyed our art from previous auctions and are looking forward to another wonderful event this year,” say Chris and Bobbie Duncanson of Walt Bannon Drilling. We will be there with bells on and paddles in hand.”

CLASS, the Body Pastiche and SkinLogix Spa have combined services to create an unprecedented package of wellness and beauty including a health membership package, personal coaching, custom massage, facial, and more.

Additional live auction items include trips to Hawaii, Texas, and Mexico, Florida, custom works of art, jewelry, and VIP Oakhurst Tree Lighting Experience for four.

The Elegant Auction provides 100 percent of the funding for the equipment, maintenance, water and upgrades to the park.

Without funding from any state or county sources, the Oakhurst Community Park was a vision that became a reality solely through the contributions of residents and businesses in the mountain area communities and the support of out of area businesses, as well.
