On Saturday the show runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Gertrude School is off of Highway 49, about five miles from Oakhurst.
Live music, raffle, a very special silent auction and an opportunity to meet the artists await the adventuresome appreciator who chooses to attend this free event.
Artists participating in the show include Annie Mahle, Norma Rogers, Trowzers Akimbo, Vicki Thomas, Shannon Grissom, Terry Robinson, Bill Davis, Doug Boomer, Phyllis McAdams, Jack Lantz, Mary Jane Brewster, and Juanita Smith.
Guests may want to purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win their very own portrait painted by a favorite participating artist.
Five artists in the show are offering the personal-portrait for the winning raffle ticket: Annie Mahle, Mary Jane Brewster, Doug Boomer, Shannon Grissom, and Trowzers Akimbo. Understandably, some terms and conditions apply. Raffle tix are $5 each or 5 for $20.
Also on tap this weekend is the “Charming Chair” Silent Auction, featuring hand-painted, one-of-a-kind chairs for bid. “Take a seat and help raise funds for YWA programs,” organizers suggest.

Yosemite Western Artists is an association of artists and art patrons dedicated to promoting the visual arts in the western Yosemite area and foothills.
Organizers say YWA has been offering art workshops, demos and social gatherings for painters and photographers since 1969, encouraging “the practice of craft” to enhance the enjoyment and skill of artists of all mediums.
