MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various operations on State Route 49 next week in Mariposa County. Work is scheduled to be performed as follows on Route 49:
- Single-lane closure from Moccasin Switchback Road to Bear Valley Road for shoulder work beginning Mondy, January 10, through Friday, January 14, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:0 p.m. Route 132
- Moving lane closure from the Mariposa/Tuolumne County Line to Route 49 for pavement marker replacement beginning Monday, January 10, through Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Route 140
- One-way traffic control from Hummingbird Lane to Miller Road for tree work beginning Monday, January 10, through Friday, January 14, 2022, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from 3rd Street to Coakley Circle for the curb, gutter, and sidewalk work beginning Monday, January 10, through Friday, January 14, 2022, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
