One-Way Traffic Control, Delays Expected On State Routes 49 and 140
MARIPOSA COUNTY,CA. – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct one-way traffic control next week on State Routes 49 and 140.
State Route 49
• Crews will perform grinding operations from the Madera/Mariposa County line to Varain Road from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. beginning Wednesday, June 2 to Friday, June 4, 2021.
This project will rehabilitate more than 35 lane miles of roadway on Route 49 from the Madera/Mariposa County line to the Route 140 junction in Mariposa.
Construction is scheduled to continue until winter 2021.
State Route 140
• Crews will perform utility work from the Bear Creek Bridge to Foresta Road from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2 through Friday, June 4, 2021.
