Tenaya Lodge Ice Skating Rink Opening For The Season

FISH CAMP — The covered ice rink at Tenaya Lodge opens for the season this month, giving skaters the best of both worlds — shelter from the elements, yet still open to the great outdoors — and auspiciously close to bonfire, delicious food and tasty beverages for kids and adults, as well.

Tenaya’s sparkling white ice rink measures an expansive 80-feet by 40-feet, and is open for day and evening skating sessions. For the grand opening on Friday, Nov. 16, Tenaya will offer hotel guests free hot chocolate around the fire pit and, for all, good winter holiday cheer.

Winter season skating sessions are $16 for adults, and $13 for children ages 4-12. Sessions run from 9 – 11 a.m., 1 – 3 p.m., and 5 – 8 p.m. daily. A day pass may be purchased for adults at a rate of $26, and children’s day pass is $21.

Activities including ice skating are dependent on weather conditions, notes Tenaya. For details on skating any particular day, call the concierge at (559) 692-8985.
