RAYMOND — District 5 Supervisor Tom Wheeler invites the mountain community to join him at Raymond-Knowles Elementary School on Thursday (March 12) from 6 to 8 p.m. for a Town Hall Meeting.
Raymond-Knowles Elementary is located at 31828 Rd 600, Raymond, CA 93653.
County staff and representatives from the Sheriff’s Office, Madera CAL FIRE and California Highway Patrol will be in attendance at the Town Hall and ready to answer any questions.
In addition, representatives from partner organizations including the Red Cross and the 2020 Census Bureau will be presenting on important programs that effect the mountain community.
The Valley Air Board also will be on hand with information about rebate programs that are designed to help make purchasing energy-efficient vehicles and equipment more affordable.
And Self-Help Enterprises and Natural Resource Conservation Service will be presenting on programs that can help home owners rehab their homes and manage their lands.
Supervisor Wheeler’s next scheduled Town Hall meeting will be in Bass Lake on April 16.
“These meetings are held in an effort to bring County government to the residents of eastern Madera County,” Wheeler said. “This is your opportunity to ask questions and get informed about what is going on in Madera County.”
