Hello Artists, Art Lovers, and friends. The past year has been tough for everyone. The decision to move forward has been difficult. We have been following pandemic reports closely, gathering feedback from artists and visitors. As more people are vaccinated, restrictions are lifting. Most people are ready to return to a normal life. Restaurants, theatres, and public venues are re-opening. California is scheduled to lift all restrictions by June 15th.
For Sierra Art Trails, not much has changed. Guidelines and fees are the same as 2019. In an effort to reduce crowds and give artists more flexibility, we have decided to expand the schedule over two weekends, October 1st through 3rd and 8th through 10th. Artists can elect to show any combination of days over the six day event. We will publish the annual catalog as usual, with the addition of a calendar that indicates when artists are showing.
Please join us to celebrate the Arts as we shake off the yoke of the Covid pandemic and come together again!

The Sierra Art Trails Open Studio Tour is the largest celebration of fine art and fine craft in our area. It is a great opportunity to market your work, collaborate with other artists, and build relationships with local business and organizations.

Sierra Art Trails is a 501c4 Non-profit organization dedicated to supporting working artists and artisans by promoting and showcasing their work. Each year, our organization produces the annual Yosemite Foothills Open Studio Tour, and a number of other unique art exhibits and art related events.
Sierra Art Trails raises funds for student scholarships, public arts, awards for artists and art organizations, and a unique student sponsorship program. Through these activities we seek to educate the public about the importance of the arts in our lives, and the role that artists play in building and maintaining a vibrant culture.
By participating in the tour as an artist or as a visitor, you are supporting the arts, and benefiting our foothills communities by helping us to maintain a thriving creative community!
The majority of Sierra Art Trails artists live and work in the area, but artists from outside the area can participate!
