State Parks Begins 150th Year With New Year's Day Hikes

YOSEMITE – Yosemite National Park reopened to visitors tonight, Oct. 16. Visitors can access public areas and roads immediately, while facilities and other public services are being brought back on-line, according to Yosemite spokesperson Scott Gediman. Yosemite National Park has been closed since Oct. 1, due to the government shutdown.
