MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control this week on State Route-132 (SR-132) and SR-140 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
STATE ROUTE 132
• One-way traffic control from the Mariposa/Tuolumne County line to Hidalgo Street for utility work on Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 140
• One-way traffic control from Triangle Road to Briceburg for pavement work beginning Sunday, January 21, through Friday, January 26, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control from Briceburg to El Portal Road for pavement work beginning Sunday, January 21, through Friday, January 26, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control at Fourth Street for sign/banner work on Monday, January 22, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
