MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control this week on State Route-140 (SR-140), for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 140
• One-way traffic control from Sweetwater Creek to El Portal Road for pavement work beginning Sunday, October 15, through Friday, October 20, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control from Whitlock Road to Stage Gulch for shoulder beginning Sunday, October 15 through Friday, October 20, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
