MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control this week on State Route-49 (SR-49) and SR-140 for maintenance and construction operations. Work will take place as follows:
STATE ROUTE 49
• One-way traffic control at Joe Howard Road for utility work beginning Saturday, March 23, to Sunday, March 24, 2024. The traffic control will take place from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
STATE ROUTE 140
• One-way traffic control from Fifth Street to Seventh Street for utility work beginning Sunday, March 24, through Monday, March 25. The traffic control will take place from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work will take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
