MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route-49 (SR-49) and SR-140, for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
• One-way traffic control from Shilling Road to Crown Lead Road for sign/banner work beginning Monday, October 30, through Thursday, November 2, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 132
One-way tratfic control at the Tuolumne/Mariposa County line for utility work on Tuesday, October 31. 2023. friom 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m
STATE ROUTE 140
• One-way traffic control from Midpines to Brice Burg for shoulder work beginning Sunday, October 29, through Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control from Brice Burg to El Portal Road for shoulder work beginning Sunday, October 29, through Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control from Morse’s Nursery to Beg Climbing Lane for shoulder work on Monday, October 30, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Yaqui Gulch Road to Beg Climbing Lane for tree work on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
