OAKHURST – Robert Long was arrested on Friday May 21st by the Madera County Sheriff’s Office for felony assault with the infliction of great bodily injury, a hate crime; felony criminal threats, a hate crime; felony evading arrest; and two counts of resisting arrest.

These charges stem from conduct that occurred April 30th at the Sinclair gas station in Oakhurst.

Long’s bail was set at $300,000. His arraignment was May 21st in the Madera Superior Court.
