OAKHURST – Everyone is invited to get their delicious grub on while supporting the Oakhurst Community Center as the all-you-can-eat extravaganza known annually as Rib Fest takes place on Saturday, June 25.
Arrive hungry and leave the fancy clothes at home, because this is a night where food, friends, and fundraising take center stage.
Proceeds benefit the Oakhurst Community Center, where people from around the foothills go to vote, play bingo, seek refuge from disaster, and once a year, eat delicious ribs with all the right fixings, until they can eat no more.
Doors open at 5:30 and dinner starts at 7 p.m.
Tickets to Rib Fest are $25 per person or $10 for anyone under 10 years old. Diners can look forward to buckets of ribs, famous Soroptimist beans and coleslaw, warm garlic bread, desserts by Mountain Community Women, a no-host bar, and more ribs.
Purchase tickets in advance at Oakhurst Giftworks and Dorsey’s Hallmark. Tickets will also be available at the door.
