Meet the Artists: Mary Beth | Sierra Art Trails

Hello, Friends!

I am so excited to be participating in my 2nd “Sierra Art Trails”, Oct. 4, 5 and 6. I hope you will come experience it with me! I am Artist #46 and will be set up outside Hot Shot Coffee Shack  (across the street from The Buckhorn and Gnarly Carrot, and just a block from La Cabana….yum!) in downtown North Fork from 10 am – 6 pm each day.

Three other artists (#47, 48, 49) will also be showing in North Fork this year – two ceramic artists and one silk painter.

It’s an amazing three-day event, in which 85 mountain artists open their studios or set up a space in or outside of local businesses and invite the public to enjoy their art and art process. Orange signs with artist numbers and arrows will be posted all over the mountains from Midpines to Mariposa to Bass Lake to YLP! Artists will be selling original works but also greeting cards, calendars, magnets, mugs, etc., so there is something for every budget.

If you want the full Art Trails experience, consider purchasing a catalog ($20 admits 2) with samples of art from each artist and maps to help you find your way to all 85 artists. Catalogs are available at Branches Books, Artifacts, Allards Art Supplies (in Fresno), and the art galleries in Oakhurst. Check out sierraarttrails.org or visit the Stellar Gallery in Oakhurst to see samples of art from each of the 85 artists – everything from jewelry to blown glass to paintings, etchings, leather work, pottery, and more!

Thank you for helping to make this 17th Annual Sierra Art Trails a great success and for visiting my booth if you are able to. I call my art business Sweet Home North Fork and have been busy all summer painting some of the local scenery I love so much. I look forward to showing you what I’ve been up to!

Thank you and hope to see you there,

Mary Beth
