Marijuana Bust In North Fork Area

NORTH FORK — Sheriff’s deputies and U.S. Forest Service law enforcement descended on a property east of North Fork along Road 225 yesterday to eradicate a marijuana grow.

At about 7:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 25, an as-yet-unknown number of marijuana plants were seized during a raid involving several cooperating agencies.

According to the Madera County Sheriff’s Office, two suspects ran from the scene as deputies approached, and two people were later taken into custody in connection to this raid.
