Madera County’s Sheriff’s Log Through August 12, 2019

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Tuesday, August 6, to Monday, August 12, 2019.

Ahwahnee Multiple Warrant Arrest
On Tuesday, August 6, at 1:49 a.m., deputies responded to the 44000 block of Femmon Ranch Road regarding a 911 hang up. A subject present had multiple warrants and was booked into Madera DOC. A report was written.

Oakhurst Vandalism
On Tuesday, August 6, at 11:13 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 47000 block of Road 630 in Oakhurst regarding a report of vandalism. Report taken, evidence obtained and case closed.

Oakhurst Vandalism
On Tuesday, August 6, at 1:50 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the Oakhurst sub station in regards to a vandalism that occurred in the 50000 block of Hangtree Lane. A report was taken for documentation.

Coarsegold Danger to Self
On Tuesday, August 6, at 3:00 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 41000 block of Long Hollow Drive regarding a W&I hold. Report written, evidence obtained, and case closed.

Coarsegold Suspicious Person
On Wednesday, August 7, at 4:14 a.m., deputies responded to the 33000 block of Skyline Ridge Trail regarding a suspicious person. A subject was cited and a report was written.

Oakhurst Suicidal Subject
On Thursday, August 8, at 6:29 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 39000 block of Pine Ridge Way in Oakhurst regarding an adult male patient who made suicidal statements. The patient was placed on a W&I 5150 hold and transported to a hospital for a mental health evaluation. Case to be closed.

North Fork Felony Arrest
On Thursday, August 8, at 8:56 a.m., the Madera Sheriff’s POP Team conducted warrant services in the mountain division. A traffic stop was conducted for a vehicle code violation which led to a male subject running from the vehicle. The male subject was positively identified and found to have a felony warrant for his arrest. A perimeter was set by responding deputies and CHP Units. Through use of an MCSO K9 the male subject was located and arrested.

Oakhurst Theft
On Thursday, August 8, at 5:35 p.m., the Madera Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 49000 block of Greenacre Drive in regards to a theft of a phone. An investigation was conducted and a report was written. Forwarded to Madera D.A.’s office for review.

Oakhurst Traffic Stop and Arrest
On Thursday, August 8, at 8:16 p.m., a deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area of Road 425B and Road 426 on a vehicle with expired registration. The male driver was found to be driving on a suspended drivers license. The male driver was arrested and issued a citation with a court date.

Coarsegold Arrest
On Thursday, August 8, at 10:30 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane in the county of Madera regarding a trespassing and restraining order violation. An investigation was conducted and one subject was arrested and booked into Madera DOC. Case closed by arrest.

Oakhurst Warrant Arrest
On Friday, August 9, at 9:21 a.m., a deputy responded to the 40000 block of CA-41 for a domestic disturbance. A deputy arrived and located the individuals involved. A records check revealed there there was a served domestic violence restraining order prohibiting contact from the involved individual as well as an active arrest warrant. One individual was arrested and their vehicle was towed. Case was forwarded to the Madera County District Attorney’s Office for charges to be filed.

Oakhurst Felony Domestic Violence Arrest
On Friday, August 9, at 1:35 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to 40000 block of CA-41 Oakhurst regarding a possibly domestic disturbance. An adult male was arrested for felony domestic violence. Case to be forwarded to the District Attorney for filing charges.

Oakhurst Suicidal Subject
On Friday, August 9, at 3:55 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 49000 block of Road 427, in the County of Madera, regarding a suicidal subject. An investigation was conducted and one subject was transported to the hospital pursuant to WIC 5150.

Oakhurst Warrant Arrest
On Friday, August 9, at 4:40 p.m., deputies conducted a vehicle stop in the 40000 block of CA-41, in the County Of Madera. One subject was arrested and booked into Madera DOC for an outstanding warrant.

Bass Lake Dog Bite
On Friday, August 9, at 7:02 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 54000 block of Road 432 for a report of a female juvenile bitten by a dog. The female was examined by paramedics. A report was written and forwarded to the Madera County Animals Services for review.

Coarsegold Possible Fraud
On Friday, August 9, at 8:32 p.m., the Madera Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane in Coarsegold in regards to a possible fraud. An investigation was conducted and a report was written. Documentation only.

Oakhurst Misdemeanor Warrant Arrest
On Friday, August 9, at 8:40 p.m., a deputy was in the area of Highway CA-41 and Road 426 when he saw a female walking in the middle of CA-41 obstructing traffic and causing a hazard. The female was found to have an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. The female was arrested and issued a citation with a new court date.

Ahwahnee Warrant Arrest
On Friday, August 9, at 10:05 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 58000 block of Road 601 in the County of Madera regarding a possible domestic disturbance. An investigation was conducted and determined that a domestic disturbance claim was unfounded. One subject was cited on an outstanding Madera County warrant. Case closed by warrant arrest.

Oakhurst Weapons and Narcotics Arrest
On Friday, August 9, at 10:55 p.m., a vehicle stop was conducted in the 40000 block of CA-41. A female subject was arrested for being a felon in possession of a loaded firearm, narcotics violations and violation of probation. Forward to Madera County DA to pursue the charges.

Oakhurst Suspicious Activity
On Saturday, August 10, at 2:59 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 48000 block of Victoria Lane in the County of Madera regarding suspicious activity. An investigation was conducted and one subject was transported by EMS to the hospital pursuant to WIC 5150.

Coarsegold Possible Suicidal Subject
On Saturday, August 10, at 4:27 p.m., the Madera Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 29000 block of Deep Forest Lane in Coarsegold in regards to a possible suicidal male subject who left the area in a vehicle. An investigation was conducted and a report was written. Documentation only.

Oakhurst Felony Weapons Arrest
On Saturday, August 10, at 7:14 p.m., a deputy conducted a subject check in the area of Road 426 and Road 425B. The male subject was found to be concealing a fixed blade knife inside of his pants. The male was arrested and booked into the Madera County DOC on felony charges.

Oakhurst Possible Sexual Assault
On Saturday, August 10, at 11:50 p.m.,  a deputy was dispatched to Valley Children’s Hospital regarding a possible sexual assault that occurred in the 48000 block of Victoria Lane in Madera County. Reporting party was contacted and statement obtained. Minor child was placed on a protective hold and turned over to Madera County CPS. Report was written and forwarded to Detectives for follow-up.
