MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office reports taken locally from Tuesday, September 10, to Monday, September 16, 2019.
Ahwahnee Possible Child Abuse/Neglect
On Wednesday, September 11, at 12:19 p.m., a deputy responded to Ahwahnee for reports of possible child abuse/neglect. A report was written and follow up was conducted. Case closed as unfounded.
Ahwahnee Criminal Threats
On Wednesday, September 11, at 1:51 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to Ahwahnee regarding criminal threats. An investigation was conducted and complain requested.
Oakhurst Theft of Prescription Drugs
On Wednesday, September 11, at 4:32 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to Oakhurst regarding the theft of prescription drugs. Report was taken and closed due to lack of leads.
Oakhurst Felony Burglary Arrest
On Wednesday, September 11, at 7:58 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to Oakhurst for a report of subjects trespassing at a residence. It was later found that the subjects occupied the residence and moved into the residence without consent from the owner. The subjects were stealing power and various items from inside the residence. A female at the residence was arrested and booked into the Madera County DOC on felony burglary charges.
Oakhurst Fraud Report
On Thursday, September 12, at 1:27 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to Oakhurst to take a telephonic report regarding fraud. A report was written and forwarded to the detective unit.
Oakhurst Felony Arrest
On Thursday, September 12, at 8:15 p.m., a deputy saw a subject that was wanted on several outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants.
The male subject was arrested and booked into the Madera County DOC on his outstanding warrants.
Oakhurst Narcotics Arrest
On Thursday, September 12, at 8:15 p.m., a deputy conducted a subject check in Oakhurst. The subject was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Subject was arrested and booked into DOC.
Coarsegold Reported Theft
On Thursday, September 12, at 8:07 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Coarsegold for a reported theft. The victim was contacted and report was taken and a suspect was identified. Forwarded to DA’s office for review of requested charges.
Coarsegold Suspicious Subject
On Thursday, September 12, at 8:56 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to Coarsegold for a report of a suspicious subject. The subject was contacted and determined to be under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and booked without incident.
Oakhurst Aggravated Assault
On Friday, September 13, at 2:44 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to Oakhurst in regards to an aggravated assault. An investigation was conducted and a report was written.
Ahwahnee Family Disturbance
On Friday, September 13, at 8:37 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to Ahwahnee regarding a family disturbance. The parties were contacted and a report written. One subject was given a ride to Oakhurst. Case closed.
Coarsegold Domestic Violence
On Saturday, September 14, at 4:59 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to Coarsegold in regards to a domestic violence disturbance. An outdoor marijuana grow was discovered in violation of the Madera County Code. A report taken for documentation. Forward the case to Madnet.
Oakhurst Narcotics Arrest
On Saturday, September 14, at 9:10 p.m, a deputy conducted a vehicle check in Oakhurst on a vehicle with expired registration. The male driver was arrested and issued a citation for driving on suspended license and for drug possession charges.
North Fork Public Intoxication Arrest
On Saturday, September 14, at 9:55 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to North Fork in regards to an intoxicated male causing a disturbance and refusing to leave. Subject was contacted and arrested for public intoxication. Forwarded to Madera County DA to pursue the charge.
