Madera County Sheriff’s Log Through May 19

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, May 13 to Sunday, May 19, 2019.

Coarsegold theft of property inside a vehicle
On Tuesday, May 14 at 9:54 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Road 415 regarding theft of property from inside of a vehicle. A report was written and the case was suspended pending further investigation.

Oakhurst burglary
On Tuesday, May 14 at 5:20 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Highway 41 in regards to an auto burglary.

Oakhurst burglary
On Tuesday, May 14 at 5:54 p.m. deputies responded to the 50000 block of Critter Creek Lane regarding a burglary. An investigation was conducted and a report was taken.

Oakhurst coroner’s case
On Wednesday, May 15 at 11:25 a.m. a deputy responded to a delayed coroner’s case that occurred at the 40000 block of Highway 49. The primary physician is stipulating to the decedent’s cause of death. This is a natural death case involving only a coroner’s referral number.

Oakhurst fraud
On Wednesday, May 15 at 12:01 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Westview Lane regarding fraud. A report was taken, evidence was obtained, and thecase is pending follow-up.

Oakhurst found property
On Wednesday, May 15 at 5:56 p.m. a deputy contacted at the substation by a citizen turning in found property. Case to be closed.

Oakhurst coroner’s case
On Wednesday, May 15 at 6:05 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Highway 41 for a coroner’s case.

Wishon public health call
On Wednesday, May 15 at 8:13 p.m. deputies responded to the 35000 block of Road 222 regarding a public health call. A female was arrested and booked into Madera Department of Corrections (DOC). A report was written and forwarded to the Madera District Attorney’s Office.

Oakhurst theft
On Sunday, May 19 at 4:49 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Hwy 49 regarding stolen property. A report was written and the case was closed.
