Madera County Hosts Flu Shot Clinics

MADERA COUNTY – The Madera County Health Department will be offering flu vaccinations at various clinic sites throughout the county during the coming weeks. Everyone is encouraged to “Get the Shot, Not the Flu.”

There will be a $5 administration fee for each flu shot, but no one will be refused service if unable to pay. Medicare members are asked to provide their number for the shot at no cost.

Flu shots are offered for persons 12 years of age and older in Madera County.

Scheduled flu shot clinics:

Oakhurst Community Center39800 Road 425B, Oakhurst, CA
Health Fair – Sunday, Oct. 2 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

North Fork Post Office – Friday, Oct. 14 from 10 – 11 a.m.

Health Department Oakhurst40325 Highway 41
Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 20 and 21
Oct. 25 and 28 from 9 a.m. – noon, and Nov. 15 and 18, from 9 a.m. – noon.

Madera County Public Health Department14215 Road 28 in Madera

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., by appointment only

Wednesdays from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 6 p.m., walk-in — no appointment necessary. $5 administration fee (no one will be refused service if unable to pay)
