Justin Linderholm Hosting Toy Drive-Through

OAKHURST – Saturday Dec. 12th, 2020 from 8am-4pm, Minarets High School Senior, Justin Linderholm, will be hosting a Toy Drive-Through, drop off at Coarsegold Rodeo Grounds, 44777 Rodeo Grounds Lane.

This event is his Senior Legacy Experience project, which is close to his heart.  Justin has volunteered for several years as a “secret elf” present wrapper and family gift organizer for a Fresno Police Community Outreach Program where officers and First Responders would pick out Christmas gifts at Target, that would go to at risk youth.

Justin reached out to his contact from that program, Karen Kroske, where she assisted him in contacting the Community Outreach division at Madera County Sheriff’s Office.

All toys will be given to Madera County Sheriff’s Office for distribution to children in Madera County.  Justin hopes to make Christmas extra special, between the Creekfire and families losing jobs, “there is a real need to spread cheer, now more so than the year’s past” said Justin Linderholm.

If you would like to drop off a toy, please bring a new, unwrapped toy, for a child up to age 14, between 8am and 4pm. Rain or shine Justin will be there to receive donations.

Justin would like to thank the Tweed family for use of the Coarsegold Rodeo Grounds as a “home base” for Elf work, and Karen for her support in helping him bring this event together.
