Attention former HOW Recipients! We are now accepting applications for our annual Helping One Woman scholarship the ???????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????????????????????????? ????????????????????????????????????????????!
OAKHURST — Joyce Souza was one of the first supporters of HOW. She gave generously to HOW often and loved attending our annual fundraiser. She was a woman who SPARKLED! From what she would wear to her personality, Joyce was a woman who shimmered everywhere she went. She passed away on February 3, 2021. Her husband, Dan, funds Joyce’s memory by funding our scholarships.
???????????? ???????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????????????? ???????? ???????????? ???????????? ???????????????? ???????????????????????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????? ????????????????????????????. An immediate family member is defined as a spouse or child of the past recipient. This year, the award is $2,500! To qualify, applicants must be enrolled as full-time students at an accredited institution of higher learning (junior college, university, or trade school). If they have completed any part of their education, they must have obtained an average GPA of 3.0 or higher or completed half of the career program.

Applications will be reviewed to make sure they meet the qualifications. On May 18, 2023, during the HOW Board Meeting, an application will be drawn randomly, similar to how monthly dinner recipients are selected.
