Even if it's only for one day a week, we sure are glad to hear about the reopening. Be sure to stop by on Thursdays for a visit!

Grand Re-Opening Today for Grace Community Thrift Store

NORTH FORK — Grace Community Thrift Store would like to thank the North Fork community for the tremendous support you have given them over the years. After necessary utilities are paid, every penny derived from the thrift shop is returned to the community in some way. Everyone on their staff is a volunteer.

Join them for their grand reopening today, Thursday, Oct. 22!

They regret being closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Their staff has worked hard to prepare for a safe reopening. Because the pandemic is not yet over, they will be following the guidelines in place for our county and state. Everyone over the age of 2 will wear a face covering while inside the building. Everyone must maintain social distancing and stay home if feeling the least bit ill (including all children.)

They understand that part of the thrift shop experience for many of their customers is to socialize. They ask their customers to be aware of their maximum allowed capacity (25%) and socialize outside after doing their shopping to avoid lines at the door. All requirements will be posted.

Hours of operation have changed for the duration of the pandemic. The thrift shop will be open only on Thursdays from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

This may change as they gain more experience in providing the best service to the community with their limited staff. They appreciate your donations and ask that you bring them during their open hours.

Grace Community hopes and prays that all their community stays well and safe. They are doing their part to maintain your safety.
