The Oakhurst Democratic Club will hold its regular monthly meeting on Saturday, June 2, at the Oakhurst Grill (formerly the Yosemite Gateway Restaurant), 40530 Highway 41. A buffet breakfast is available for $8.00, starting at 8:30am, followed by the program at 9:15. This month’s speaker will be attorney Carol Moses, discussing Law Day Yosemite, which she has co-chaired or chaired since the event was created six years ago. Law Day is a national event, first recognized by President Eisenhower, which brings 8th grade students and federal judges together to discuss the Rule of Law. Ms Moses is also a candidate for Madera Superior Court Judge.
