Oakhurst Democratic Club’s monthly meeting on Saturday, Nov. 5 at Denny’s will include a special Citizen’s Alert Presentation by Madera County DA David Linn, who will be speaking on “Holiday Hazards: Scouting Out Seasonal Scams, Schemes and Scoundrels in Madera County.”
Assisting in the program will be Senior Deputy District Attorney John Baker, who specializes in various assignments for the county including gangs, domestic violence, elder abuse, homicide and other serious felony cases.
Breakfast is served at 8:30 and the program begins at 9:30. The general public is encouraged to attend regardless of party affiliation.
