Free Master Gardeners Fruit Tree Pest Management Workshop on June 23, 10am-Noon at Supervisors Chambers in Mariposa.
There are dozens of diseases, insects, and other pests that attack fruit trees. With that in mind, the UC Master Gardeners of Mariposa County are offering a FREE “Fruit Tree Pest Management” workshop on Saturday, June 23, 10am – 12pm, in the Board of Supervisors Chambers at 5100 Bullion St., Mariposa, CA.
Maxwell Norton, Emeritus Fruit and Nut Advisor for Mariposa and Merced Counties will be presenting. Maxwell Norton has over 40 years of experience working with fruit trees and grapes. Topics covered will include a variety of fruit tree pests and how to prevent and/or manage them. Feel free to bring samples for the class to look at. Registration for the FREE workshop is required.
