Forest Art Walk

with Artist Cheyenne Sukalski

Every Friday from April 26 through May 24.

Time: 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM

Location: El Capitan Meadow; program meets near shuttle stop 9.

In this creative 1.5-hour outing, you’ll use watercolor and ink to meditate on your surroundings, while learning about the magical forests and ecosystems of Yosemite. After strolling to a secluded spot, a Yosemite Conservancy art instructor will help you bring your surroundings to life with whimsical sketches and splashes of color. You’ll create a visual journal entry, combining drawing and musings as you are inspired. No matter your “artistic” level, you’ll enjoy the playful nature of using art to connect to the world around you!

Experience level: Little to no experience required, ages 12+. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Registration fee: $15 per person. Advanced online registration is required.

Details and map will be emailed after registration.

Materials: Supplies are included in the registration fee.

Registration Fee: $15
