Learn what it takes to join the Central California Animal Disaster Team (CCADT) that has responded to multiple wildfires, flooding, and single/multi-unit home fires to help save animals during crisis situations. This training program is the ONLY recruitment event for new volunteers being offered in our counties of Mariposa, Madera, Fresno, Merced, and Kings. We welcome anyone to attend to see if this is a good fit for your volunteering aspirations. This training will teach the basic skills needed to respond in the counties that we serve.

Over the past several years, wildfires have become more prevalent throughout California. Volunteer help is needed to assist animal owners and emergency responders to save our Central Valley’s animals during fire season. In 2022, CCADT responded to the Oak Fire in Mariposa County – the worst in the county’s history. In September, we responded to the Fork Fire in Madera County. This is the only training in 2023. We look forward to meeting you.
