Shibori Tie Dye: SHIBORI is an ancient Japanese resist method of Tie Dyeing with traditional Indigo Dye that involves scrunching, twisting, folding or mashing fabric to produce beautifully patterned fabric. We will explore different methods of preparing the fabric , dyeing to achieve the desired depth of color and some patterns for utilizing all that wonderfully dyed fabric. All materials and supplies (fabric, dye, instructions, etc.) required to create 1 yd of Shibori Fabric are included.
