“What is all this business about scarecrows?”
“I am a HUGE fan of October, Halloween, Fall and really anything having to do with decorating/blinging things up/and raving a place out,” says Anne of Branches Books & Gifts. “This led to wanting to do something fun with my fellow employees, business owners and community and, if you will, a throw down of sorts.
So, Oakhurstians, we at Branches Books invite you to participate in the Scarecrow Festival! This is open to all businesses, schools, establishments and anyone who wants to be a little festive this season.
So…the gauntlet is thrown! Your challenge? Create an awesome Scarecrow and display it proudly in front of your store! Send your photos to anne@branchesbooks.com to enter the contest and also post on social media and tag @BranchesBooks. Make sure to use the #oakhurstscarecrows hashtag!
