AHWAHNEE—As a service to the mountain communities, Eastern Madera County SPCA (EMC SPCA) is holding a low-cost spay/neuter clinic for cats only at its Animal Care and Adoption Center on Tuesday, April 9.
Call (559)404-0925 ext. 106 and leave a message that includes your name, telephone number and number of cats. Minimum cat weight is three pounds. You will receive a call back from the center to collect additional information and to confirm your appointment.
Drop off your cat(s) at 7:30 am and pick up that afternoon. The cost to spay or neuter is $50 per animal.
Pets only—no strays or ferals accepted.
Additional services are available, as well:
- Rabies vaccine—$3
- FVRCP vaccine—$15
- Microchip—$20
- Feline Wellness—$50
The Animal Care and Adoption Center is located at 43180 Hwy 49, Ahwahnee.
Note: Residents of Mariposa County are eligible for this service, as well.
