AHWAHNEE — Madera County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the death of a 68-year-old man in Ahwahnee.
On Friday, Oct. 21, at approximately 1:08 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 41000 block of Road 600 regarding a possible homicide.
Deputies arrived and found the Ahwahnee resident dead outside his home. They quickly contained the crime scene and requested detectives and the Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) unit respond to the location.
“We are in the early stages of the investigation and will release more details as they become available, including cause of death,” says Commander Tyson Pogue.
