FRESNO — The Central California Blood Center will host a three-day blood drive sponsored by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino’ as part of its “Chukchansi Cares” program. The blood drive will take place Thursday (April 30) through Saturday, according to a press release issued Wednesday.
“This blood drive is a bi-annual team member event that was originally scheduled to take place at the casino. However, given the casino’s temporary closure due to precautions surrounding COVID-19, the Chukchansi team, guests and the community are invited to donate at one of the three Fresno-based blood center locations listed below,” the release stated.
“The goal for the drive has been set at 200-plus pints of blood. And as a thank you, Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino is offering a $10 restaurant food voucher for those who choose to donate.”
The Central California Blood Center is adhering to all U.S. Center for Disease Control (CDC) measures to ensure the safety and adequacy of our Valley’s blood supply. The Central California Blood Center has also taken additional precautions such as partaking in social distancing by spacing out donors and staff, adding upon existing sanitation practices, providing masks for all donors and all staff, as well as measuring donor and staff temperatures before anyone enters any premise.

We urge anyone who is healthy and able to please join us for this great partnership with Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino.”
