Dianne Marie Ross
Dianne was born in Denver Colorado and moved around a lot as a child. Her family settled in the Alhambra, California area where she graduated from Mark Keppel High School. She was married twice and had one son, John. Dianne worked most of her life as an office manager for car dealerships but she also worked as a PBX operator for Santa Fe Railroad. Her mom, Emily, introduced her to her long time husband Jack (John T Ross) and they married in 1974 and were together until he passed in May of 2011.
Dianne and Jack were very active with the VFW and the VFW Auxiliary in Oakhurst, California where they lived for over 30 years. They enjoyed trips in their convertible and time with their two grandkids, Christopher and Crystal. Dianne was excited to become a great grandma this May.
Dianne moved to Missouri in February 2023 to be closer to her son and his family and was just settling in when she passed. She will be missed by many. She leaves behind her son, John Piotrowski (Michelle), Grandson, Christopher Piotrowski (Desiree) in Dixon, Missouri and Granddaughter Crystal Lomeli (Rick) and Great Granddaughter Lyric in Riverside, California
There will be a graveside service at Oakhill Cemetery in Oakhurst, California on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 2pm.
The family ask that in lieu of flowers please send a donation to the Jasper County Church of Christ. Dianne was very grateful to them as they had youth delegation come and volunteer and did work on her house and property this last July.
