Re-opening remains on hold for a little longer.

Dear FAM-ily,
The week of March 15, 2021 marked FAM being closed due to COVID-19 for one whole year (except for a few weeks in October 2020). Thanks to all of you who care about our Museum, we are as vital as ever, and we are ready to seamlessly reopen and sooner rather than later!
Although Fresno County has moved to the red tier, FAM must remain closed for a while longer due to critical building repairs. The chiller that regulates our indoor temperature is currently scheduled to be replaced in mid-May 2021 by the City of Fresno, and shortly thereafter, with the help of Electric Motor Shop, we will be replacing the track lighting in our three major galleries, delaying our reopening to late June or July. We will let you know the reopening date as soon as we know. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Museum then, with all safety protocols and our new lighting and HVAC system in place.
